Gutter Repair

Most leaks, sags, and loose seams are fixable in a few hours, without ripping out the whole system. We start with the diagnosis, not the upsell.

Common fixes

Repitching a sagging section by adjusting hangers. Resealing inside and outside miter joints with butyl sealant. Replacing a single run that’s beyond saving while leaving the rest of the system in place. Fixing fascia rot behind a leaking section before rehanging. Repairing or replacing a downspout that’s pulling away from the wall. Most of these are short visits, not multi day projects.

When we recommend replacement

When a meaningful portion of the run is rotted, sagging, or has joint sealant failure, we’ll tell you plainly that a full seamless replacement is the better long term call. We’ll quote both options (patch versus replace) and you decide. We don’t push an install when a repair gets you years more out of what’s already up there.

Get a second opinion

If another contractor has quoted you a full tear off, get a second opinion before you commit. We do free written estimates and we’ll look at the work the previous quote was based on. If their call was right, we’ll tell you. If a repair makes more sense, we can usually do it the same week.

Storm and wind damage

A storm that drops branches or peels shingles usually takes gutters with it. Detached runs, bent hangers, and downspouts crushed by falling limbs are all repairable, often without replacing the whole system. If the July 2026 storm hit your home, see our storm damage repair page. We’re scheduling repairs across Walworth County now, and we document the damage with photos your insurance adjuster can use.
