What we work on
Aluminum fascia wraps over rotted wood fascia where the wood underneath is still structurally sound. Full wood fascia replacement on historic homes that need to keep the original profile and paint line. Vinyl or aluminum soffit panels with continuous venting. Soffit venting matters more than people realize and is one of the most common causes of ice dam problems we trace back. Drip edge flashing where it’s missing or kicked out, and starter strip replacement on tear offs.
When this becomes urgent
Soft fascia behind the gutter line is the early sign. Push on the back of the gutter; if the wood gives, water has been getting in for a while. Once it spreads past the fascia into the roof framing, you’re into rafter end repair, a real project with shingles coming off. Catching the rot at the gutter is the cheap fix. Letting it run another year usually means a much larger bill once the framing is involved.

We do fascia and soffit during the gutter visit when the front rail is already off and the work is open. One trip, one cost, one cleanup. If we’re quoting a new gutter install and we spot fascia damage during the walkthrough, the repair comes on the same quote. We don’t make you book a second visit just to charge a second mobilization fee.
